Another fantastic read.

Reading each edition of Tigerfeathers evokes a strong feeling a love & optimism for India in me.

Fantastic read. Also gave me immense validation because you quoted the report I helped build - the Bain report, and the image from that report you've added here is something I had built :)

I found this better than the indus valley report as far as an "country's annual letter" goes.

How about a series on what themes would to make it next year? That could be interesting.

Like always. Best long format human written content on web.

Cheers!

Thanks so much Tarang! A 'country's annual letter' is a neat way of characterising this exercise. I also consider it the highest compliment to be compared with The Indus Valley Report, which is always a phenomenal piece of work. I've got a list of 40-50 other themes that could make this list. Will probably return to the format either later this year or early next year. As always, thanks for reading :)

Oh man, as always, reading this piece was such a goosebumpy ride. I wish I could traverse and switch between such diverse knowledge areas in the same paragraph as well as you do.

And thanks for the shoutout!

Jawaharlal Nehru, who received a gold sceptre of his own when the country won its Independence from the British Crown in 2947 (it should be 1947?)

- Maybe a bi-annual piece for this style would be great.

Loved it as always:)

Fantastic read! In case you still check comments, a minor quibble.

Both the Inca and the Aztec are not considered ancient civilizations as they were formed in the late 13th-early 14th centuries, making them contemporaries of Vasco De Gama.
